In Loving Memory of Matthew Paul Lovato

Matthew Paul Lovato was born on August 1, 1982, and passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 44.

Matt was always a goofball and the comedian of the family. He loved making people laugh and had a way of bringing his own kind of humor into just about everything. Anyone who knew Matt probably has a story about something funny he said or did. Matt was kind-hearted and loving.

Matt was someone who lived life in his own way. He had a great personality, a unique sense of humor, and interests that made him who he was. He loved movies, and music, guns and knives which reflected his curiosity and the things he enjoyed.

He could be silly, funny, passionate, and memorable, and those are the pieces of him that will remain with the people who knew him.

He is survived by his mother Tina, and stepfather Vernon, his father, Norman and stepmother Angel, his sister Dallas, his cousins Valerie and Daniel and his nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends.

There are things about a person that can never really be captured in an obituary. The inside jokes, the stupid things that made you laugh, the way they made people feel, and the little things that made them who they were.

Those are the memories that will stay.

Matt was here. He was loved. He mattered. And he will be missed.
