Carmen Christian, 91, passed away at home on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
Carmen is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Christian; her son, David Abeyta (Josie); her brother, Toby Montoya, and sister, Susie Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her daughter and both of her parents.
Carmen will be remembered for her laughter and love of dancing, her creative talent for crafts, and her wonderful cooking, which she enjoyed sharing with family and loved ones.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 12:00 noon at ABQ Simple Funerals & Cremations, 1935 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87112.
Carmen will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
